02 / Process
Each project draws from a shared geographic foundation. Kartverket elevation shapes the terrain; OpenStreetMap paths and places, NVE water and selected building records from Kartverket and Riksantikvaren add context. We reconcile those sources offline into terrain, route and map layers.
That foundation becomes an eleven-day story in The Lofoten Crossing, a terrain and detailed map in the mobile app, and composed images in the Iso Editor. The activities map is still taking shape as a social guide for locals and visitors to discover places, find things to do and connect through shared interests.
Camera, colour, simplification and movement give each result its character.
